Samsung told ZDNet, "The Galaxy S8 was built with an adaptive display that optimizes the color range, saturation, and sharpness depending on the environment".

Anticipation is high for the worldwide release of Samsung's next flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S8, this Friday. The launch is scheduled to take place in New Delhi at 12PM IST. This camera design has already appeared in leaked images of what was being called a Galaxy S8+ prototype.

Samsung's latest flagship Galaxy S8 is reportedly closing in on 1 million in preorders in Korea, setting a record in the domestic market. It's also interesting to note that most Samsung smartphones support ANT+ so you can connect a number of fitness accessories to your Samsung smartphone and Samsung Health for advanced data collection.

Samsung has faced yield issues with the AMOLED screens since the Galaxy S phone. Also, the curved display on the front of the devices makes it very hard to replace the front glass without destroying the display. Both devices are water and dust (IP68)-resistant. To a large extent, Samsung has managed to convince users that it is still the leader of top premium smartphones, but it looks like there is some trouble waiting for the Korean tech giant.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 will come in 5.8 inches, and the S8+ will come in 6.2 inches. It is also said that it will have a 12MP selfie shooter on the front which is definitely a huge upgrade from the last year's 5MP shooter. It comes with Non-removable Li-Ion 3000 mAh battery. Bixby, which is essentially Samsung's version of Google Assistant which in itself is a pretty solid personal assistant. According to the website, Bixby 'can talk, see, read, recommend the user on actions. The next smartphone in this series is going to be the Galaxy J5.

Its camera sensor is said to have been refined for better image processing, which enables users to capture photographs and videos. It also has professional and auto mode resembling pictures clicked in a DSLR. AT&T shipped the black Galaxy S8+ that I pre-ordered on Tuesday (Apr. 18) and will arrive via FedEx on Wednesday, two days before AT&T and Samsung promised the handset would arrive.

On the imaging front, the handsets feature a 12MP "Dual Pixel" camera at the rear with an aperture of f/1.7 and laser auto-focus alongside an 8MP front facing camera with an aperture of f/1.7.

To hammer home the point, the S8's battery has survived being sawn in half. Both phones have the IRIS scanner. "The remainder was divided among an astounding 48 devices, showing that although the last flagship gets all the attention, Samsung's offering in the U.S. remains as diverse as ever".

The Nokia 9 is rumored to be launched around fall with an estimated price tag of $699.
