OnePlus is going to team up with DxOmark, announced the Chinese company in a blog post today. It is important to note that even if this the standard prototype of OnePlus 5, it doesn't necessarily mean that the final design of the smartphone will or will not feature a dual camera.
"OnePlus has always been one of the leading innovators in the smartphone industry, and we are proud to partner with them and support their exciting mobile photography strategy", said Etienne Knauer, SVP Sales & Marketing at DxO.
The photos suggest that the OnePlus 5, the successor to the OnePlus 3t, will have a dual-lens camera, which lines up nicely with rumors. The slightly odd thing there is that 23-megapixel may only refer to one sensor, so we have no idea what the other one will be. The company also consults with camera companies as well as smartphone and tablet makers.
OnePlus has announced a partnership with photography experts DxO that will bring "clearer, more lovely photos" to its next flagship Android smartphone, the OnePlus 5.
DxO is the company behind DxOMark, which is a benchmark for camera and lens image quality measurements and ratings.
Two separate reports surrounding the OnePlus 5 surfaced late on Wednesday (May 17), and one of them will make you wonder whether it's worth the hype.
OnePlus is expected to deliver the OnePlus 5 this summer. It is expected that the image quality will definitely improve from the OnePlus 3T especially in low light conditions.
Meanwhile, going by the leaked information so far, the upcoming OnePlus 5 is likely to feature Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor like the Samsung Galaxy S8 coupled with Adreno 540 GPU and 6GB or 8GB of RAM.
Another day and another OnePlus 5 leak is here.
First up, Android Authority revealed that OnePlus is planning to release the OnePlus 5 for $650.
