Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is entering his 13th National Football League season and will turn 34 in December, he admitted on Tuesday he's in the latter half of his career.

Earlier in the night, Rodgers also was honored with the ESPY award for "Best NFL Player" for the fourth time in seven years.

Dude looks dapper. I'd say the single life suits him. Rodgers hasn't thrown double digit interceptions in a season since 2010.

The Green Bay Packers star, who split from girlfriend Olivia Munn in the spring, opened up to PEOPLE about his sustained success, overcoming regrets - and the importance of mentorship and friendship in his sport. "I'd like to finish my career in Green Bay". "I think what you find is that Tom Brady is kind of reshaping that a little bit, and nearly allowing him mentally to change that". The Giants lost to the Packers 38-13 in the NFC Wild Card Round last season.

"We have to start faster", Rodgers said. I think everybody was hungry in that locker room after the game; obviously a lot of disappointment about the way that we played and performed, disappointment about the culmination of the season being so sudden - it's here, we're thinking about the Super Bowl, it's over.

The NFL's 32 teams split $7.8 billion in shared national revenue last season, or $244 million per team, as revealed when the Packers released financial information today. It's for that wonderful "He went to Jared" catch in the Packers-Cowboys divisional round playoff game.
