The dollar starts the week low and sells at $ 17.54 in the city of Buenos Aires

After Monday’s holiday, the dollar traded with a drop of three cents, selling on average to $ 17.54, according to the usual survey conducted by the Central Bank among the main entities of the City of Buenos Aires.

It should be recalled that after the PASO, during the previous week the price of the ticket suffered an important correction, higher than 40 cents.

In the wholesale segment, the exchange rate was quoted at the resumption of activities at $ 17.20, which is seven cents below the previous close, as a result of a greater liquidation of foreign exchange by exporting companies.

In the informal segment, in turn, the blue was operating just below the values of Friday, as it was offered in the caves of the microcentro to $ 18.27 for sale.

Finally, on the Stock Exchange, the liquidated account fell to 17.20 pesos per unit.
